Wellington’s spring weather keeps us on our toes! If your child is attending one of our Spring Holiday programmes or Term 4 at Nature School please help us keep your tamariki comfortable and safe outdoors.

Sunscreen & Sun Protection

You can choose whether to apply sunscreen before drop-off. Staff will support tamariki to apply sunscreen after lunch on bright or sunny days. Tamariki will be encouraged to apply it themselves, with staff supervision.

We provide Everyone Out sunscreen, but please supply your own if your child has allergies.

Sun-smart clothing is essential — shoulders must be covered.

Clothing & Gear

Everyone Out is an all-weather outdoor programme. Please pack:

• A full waterproof outer layer

• Spare clothes and footwear for wet and muddy play

• Sun hat and warm hat

• Both winter and summer layers (so tamariki are prepared for any season in a day!)

Dry, warm tamariki are happy tamariki. If your child isn’t comfortable, they won’t get the most out of their day so thank you for helping us keep them prepared!
