EVERYONE OUT Adventure Games

Our Adventure Games are back for 2023. Get out and explore Wellington's amazing green spaces with your whānau and friends. Work together and search for secret codes to unlock boxes hidden. Thanks to Nuku Ora Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa fund we are able to have even higher Kaiako to tamariki ratios. This means we can support play that challenges all tamariki, help to assess risk all while continuing to meet everyone's needs. We will also be running our Family Events again in 2023 at a heavily discounted rate thanks to this fund as well. What's happening at Nature School this Term?

If you didn't already know we run a One Day School during term time - Everyone Out Nature School, at Island Bay on Wednesdays and Crofton Downs on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Nature School is for all tamariki aged 5 to 12 years old, whether they attend main stream school or are homeschooled, we provide a rich learning environment where they can follow they own interests.  On top of our normal programme, this term we will: - Have a gardening expertise join us from Bunnin...

Fees and Scholarship Fund

Next term our fees for Nature School will increase from $65 to $70 / day to cover rising costs of wages, venue hire and consumables. Once you enrol the fees can be paid by bank deposit in one lump sum or spread over two or three payments.  We have also started a Scholarship fund for whānau (families) who would like their tamariki (children) to attend Nature School but our fees are a barrier to attendance. Island Bay Holiday Programme SuperStar

We are looking for a Holiday Programme SuperStar to lead Everyone Out Island Bay Holiday Programme. You would have several years experience working with or caring for tamariki (ideally primary aged). You would be available to work during the school holiday periods. You would be responsible and reliable. Everyone Out also offer Nature School one day per week during term time. Tamariki (children) will be given the freedom to engage in authentic, self-directed play based learning. Everyone Out COVID-19 Update

Based on our Health and Safety risk assessment for COVID-19 we have determined that all roles at Everyone Out are required to be performed by vaccinated people. Other controls to mitigate risk of COVID-19 transmission are outline in our pandemic plan. Fun in Otari!

Thank you to all these families who came to Otari-Wilton's Bush for the first Adventure Games of 2020. There were over 200 people playing in 53 teams so it was BUSY!
